I haven't taken my show on the road yet but the time honored comic book tradition of the team-up is alive and well. There is a now annual pilgrimage to San Diego to help the homeless during Comicon. Recently Crimson Catalyst traveled to Chicago to work with several other RLSH. I recently was able to watch the Superheroes documentary from HBO and they showed an annual meet up of heroes from Seattle and Portland.
Wow, thats great! I would think that these pilgrimages and meetups would be powerful tools to draw attention to the RLSH movement. hmmmm.....there is a MASSIVE con held in Orlando, Florida each year....I wonder what would happen if a bunch of the RLSH's showed up to help the homeless on that occasion? If anyone of our "resident" heros are interested in that, the con is called the Megacon...and I believe its in late february or early march.
The Muse leaves you in a zen cloud of well being, positive energy and creative fire. You find yourself succumbing to the overwhelming urge to write and create.......
I'm actually part of two groups, 1 group is called RLSH of Canada. this group is of course a group where Canadians who are rlsh meet and talk of future events and gatherings. Another group I'm part of is the Trillium Guards, This group is Canadians who live in Ontario. we are actually starting to plan out 2-3 gatherings One of them is taking place in Nunavut we i going up there to help out an old hero who's been at it from the start called Polar Man and the other event is us all gathering some where in Ontario to help out the effort in well Ontario. The third plan is simply all of us going to Hope 2012 where ever it will be. So that's whats the plan (i just hope i can make it to all three) Me personally I'm heading up to North Carolina to be a grooms men in a wedding so I'll be doing some walks since I'm going to be down there and all.
The only two I've met personally so far are Superhero and Artisteroi last year when they came to Baywalk to help me make my "Superhero Day" video.
In fact I just emailed Artisteroi. I'm trying to get something going with the HOPE 2012 down here this July 14th/15th. What we really need is to get the media's attention about it so we can get the public involved.
If we can get the media to do a story about it then we could get people to donate food to our shelters that weekend, I'll keep you posted on how or if it works out.
Hello every one, I know I know I'm good with the vanishing act. Recently I been buisy which is not new if all of you remember I'm usualy always occupying my time with some form of work or events and such.
A lot has changed I had the pleasent and most amazing expirience of meeting local rlsh from ontario, black hat and crimson canuck were awesome people with the same mind set as me and had diffrent ways to push the canadian rlsh forward.
Crimson canuck I swear should be in politics, but like or not he has become the trillium guards relations specialist and media rep. Black hat still says he is in training but I know he has already exceeded and should give himself for credit and really leave the title "in training" at the door.
Myself I have had a lot of projects on the go such as the core initiative, and also in a couple years or sooner I'm launching a charitable event called "play for a change" myself and crimson have been bouncing idea's off each other since he wants to run a glag rlsh foot ball for sick kids.
Myself I have taken my name into a sport as well, been playing for organisations such as sick kids, and fight for cancer. The sport means I do actualy have my own sponsers and endorsements. you may see some pictures of me with out my mask but this is fine because I play paintball and I have this other mask that some what distorts just the same.
So yea sorry about being MIA I'm not going to promise it won't happen again but know I am always thinking of all you and I'll always return some day
So project core initiative is somthing I do as a cilivilian, so I don't use the name ark I just use my real name. Core initiative is like a intro to random acts of kindness, in 2011 I noticed the homeless I been helping where being helped I think I told knight hood this one day, where I saw girls young look to be in there early 20s going into a 711 and purchasing food and hats and gloves for some homeless people. After seeing this I started investigating, and noticed a couple of of other people do the same thing ranging from ages 17 to god only knows. So this summer I was buisy tracking these people down and I have about 30-40 people now. Core initiative is basicly a bunch of people taking time out of there days and just doing atleast one act of kindness. We are all indipendent we don't organise much just do what we can when we can. They don't know about me being a rlsh though but that's alright, they arnt looking for a pat on the back or spotlight on them. Which I find awesome. So that's core initiative in a nut shell, oh yea some people are actualy running for cancer today so we do events to.
Play for a change: ok play for a change is basicly you take any and all kinds of sport, and add in a local charity such as sick kids and such. You get people to donate either through tickets to watch or even to play and all proceeds go to that local charity. Soo basicly your playing a sport but your making a change in the community so I thought the name was suitable. "Play for a change" I thought it was a cool name. So yea, through my cenections recently I have started to build the foundation to launch this. Its been hard because a lot of places want to make money even if it is a charity. I found only 1 place for paintball who are willing to donate boxes of paint and use there facility for free for the first launch in paintball division, it has been easier with baseball and soccer since they are public parks so yea. A lot going on and a lot rinkles that need to be smoothed out.
Sounds like a great worthwhile project to me. When you form your foundation you may want to look into getting official charitable status. Once you have it getting donations is way easier as you can offer them a tax write off among other things. You will likely also need a web site for your foundation. I own my own server and am offering you frees pace on it and as much HTML/tech support as you need to keep it up and running. That is if free fits your budget. L.O.L.

Didn’t see your earlier post. My apologies for missing it. But to answer your question, I take my act with me wherever I go. Thanks to the Internet like my fictional counterpart that inspires me and I take my name from I can be anywhere in the world in a heartbeat.
You seemed to think my offer to Ark was a good thing. It’s an offer I extend to any worth while cause out there. RLSH related or not. You don’t have to be a RLSH and wear a cape to do good.
When I was working at a Church run outreach program I noticed several things that turned out to be common to a lot of outreach programs.
1 they are staffed mostly by unpaid volunteers usually a lot of seniors as they are the ones with the most free time. Being older most of them have next to no computer expertise.
2 Almost all the money they take in goes to helping those that need help. After the bills for running a place have been paid there usually isn’t any money left over for niceties like maintaining an Internet presence
3 any group would like to have an Internet presence to spread the word about their cause. But when you add points 1 and 2 together they usually end up doing without 1 as the money can’t be stretched that far.
So having assessed the situation I figured to use a somewhat shop worn phrase that “This looks like a job for Superman!!” Or at least this Superman anyway. So I now remedy the situation by offering my services to any worthwhile group out there that needs them.
When I started out I used available free space on line because I didn’t have a server then. After setting up a site for them I train several of their volunteers on how to maintain it. But as I started helping out I had to increase my knowledge to stay ahead of the curve. Now that I have my own server I can do more and offer extremely secure space for truly sensitive things.
So now I can take this part of my act on the road and go world wide without my bottom ever leaving the comfort of my computer chair. Presently with the Help of my good friend and IT guy Ray I am working toward creating a server ring (providing the training for free and the equipment at cost) so the work started will continue even when I’m gone.
After all the 1 of the 1st things you learn in computers is back up everything. In this case that would include me and my server. Think anyone will want in on this deal?
This looks like a Job for Superman!! Up! Up! and Away!
Well I’d like to think that I would but sometimes giving free space away is harder than giving away kittens. Right now I have plenty of space available. In addition if and when I finally use up what I have I can expand an additional20 terabytes without even opening up the case on the server. I can add 16 more on top of that if I do, so I don’t see space ever becoming a problem on my server. I’ve talked to my IT guy Ray (who is also Vice President of the Unreality Lab. I’m the President. LOL.) about the costs of setting up servers for others. For between 200 – 300 dollars a person will get a computer that has already been set up to act as a server, complete with a starter web site and bulletin board. All they will have to do is plug it into their router and call Ray who will then (using software installed on the computer that its owner controls) take care of configuring the router’s settings so that computer can act as a server. This includes domain names that remain in place and don’t have to be renewed. The reason for the price variation is to allow for variation in parts cost and the cost of mailing the computer to its new owner. Once their server is up and running they can contact me for any HTML Help they will need. That help will be provided free of charge along with HTML classes taught by me that are also free. My Mama taught me to share my toys. She may have passed but the lessons linger.

Omen: Get in line, I have been working like crazy also. I have two major projects I have to finish and hopefully everything slows down. Haven't had time to log into the board... I actually miss it. It feels good popping my head in to see what's going on.

g40t90yes: Good Morning. Now I am no political activist, but with is going on in today's activist world, I have a question. Last Sunday Vice President Pence walked out of a Colts Football game because the Players took a knee. I would like to read your View about this
Oct 11, 2017 7:50:37 GMT -5
g40t90yes: Continue. Now The NFL Owners (Jones-Cowboys, Ross-Dolphins) are going to demand their players stand for the Anthem. Again just thinking out loud. Couple of weeks ago Owners (Jones) knelt with players. Now you are pulling back. Why??
Oct 11, 2017 7:54:40 GMT -5
g40t90yes: One more thing. Some people view The NFL Draft and NBA Draft as a modern day or fashionable auction block for black young men. Thoughts!!! Please.
Oct 11, 2017 8:04:49 GMT -5
The Muse: Im sure there are going to be a lot of thoughts on this...why not start a thread on the topic under the "chat" board. It will be easier for everyone to read and comment on it there. This shoutbox is kinda cumbersome to have to scroll through to read stuff.

The Muse: Where does the time go?
Nov 7, 2017 9:26:16 GMT -5
Omen: I don't know... some say time goes around in circles - for me, its just a dreary long squiggly line, in some places in its a smile, in others... its not.
