If I claim to know anything about people who browse the web, it's that some sites, especially forums, tend to overwhelm some folks. You get here and there all these categories, and message boards with different topics, and people arguing about this and that.... one can't help but naturally wonder if it's worth the risk and investment to press Register and dive into this sometimes daunting community.
Well, I'm laying down the Welcome mat. Take the the time to rub your feet all over it, get it dirty, fray the scratchy fibers with the soles of your shoes until it completely unravels and comes apart.
You don't have to register to post here. This is the place to test the waters. Talk about anything. Post whatever topics you like.
Now that it's time to break the ice, I'll go ahead and take my own pick axe to it.
I'm Emerald, resident admin on Visual Adjectives.
I like long walks on the beach... wait, that's not true. I like violent things, especially video games, film/video game scores and soundtracks, sharp objects, and plotting ways to start zombie outbreaks within my community.
I am excited to say... I have followed my Heart of Hearts, Followed MY Dreams, Counted My Lucky Stars and aiming to go Over the Rainbow!
I am a Story Teller. That might not seem so special with those (5) words standing on their own. I will need to add, I am a Native Alaskan, Inuit. Story Telling is very important from one generation to the next, learning from their ancestors, and their ancestors. What one generation learns from their ancestors is passed on to their children, and their children's children...
What can one Inuit who has lived in South Florida her entire life share for generations to come? Well...
I invite young readers join Nina and Steve on a wonderful journey to the Florida we have all come to love. My writings surpass the here and now. I solely desire my love for nature and the aquatic creatures that live among us, be passed to our children's children, and their children's children.
Adventures with Nina & Steve series is a collection of children stories set in our local parks and beaches. They are inner twined with exciting adventures, and personal learning experiences. Learning of our surroundings and natural habitats. Warm internal feelings of helping sea creatures, and land animals by being aware of the impact of human carelessness and what can be done to help clean oceans and water ways.
Children hold this Big Blue World in their little hands... do you have a story to tell?
One of my great-grands is of the Iriquios Nation, and my oldest daughter is 1/4 cherokee. I love the traditional styles and stories of Native americans. (I have an aunt who is from Juneau who is half Inuit) So I am very excited that you are here! I cant wait to see what your stories are like!
The Muse leaves you in a zen cloud of well being, positive energy and creative fire. You find yourself succumbing to the overwhelming urge to write and create.......
Omen: Get in line, I have been working like crazy also. I have two major projects I have to finish and hopefully everything slows down. Haven't had time to log into the board... I actually miss it. It feels good popping my head in to see what's going on.

g40t90yes: Good Morning. Now I am no political activist, but with is going on in today's activist world, I have a question. Last Sunday Vice President Pence walked out of a Colts Football game because the Players took a knee. I would like to read your View about this

g40t90yes: Continue. Now The NFL Owners (Jones-Cowboys, Ross-Dolphins) are going to demand their players stand for the Anthem. Again just thinking out loud. Couple of weeks ago Owners (Jones) knelt with players. Now you are pulling back. Why??

g40t90yes: One more thing. Some people view The NFL Draft and NBA Draft as a modern day or fashionable auction block for black young men. Thoughts!!! Please.

The Muse: Im sure there are going to be a lot of thoughts on this...why not start a thread on the topic under the "chat" board. It will be easier for everyone to read and comment on it there. This shoutbox is kinda cumbersome to have to scroll through to read stuff.

The Muse: Where does the time go?
Nov 7, 2017 9:26:16 GMT -5
Omen: I don't know... some say time goes around in circles - for me, its just a dreary long squiggly line, in some places in its a smile, in others... its not.
